Update on our Covid policy

With covid regulations around mask wearing in public places set to change tomorrow, we just wanted to update you on what we’re doing at The West Midlands Cat Clinic to help keep everyone safe.

Given the prevalence of Omicron at the moment, even though mask wearing will no longer be compulsory in shops and other public places, our team will continue to wear masks when you come to see us. We’re requesting owners coming into practice to do the same to help keep everybody safe, particularly in consulting rooms as this is an enclosed space, there is relatively close contact between people and each consult is scheduled for 15 minutes. Please do continue to make use of our hand sanitiser on on arrival too. 

Partitions in the waiting room will remain, with one cat family per sofa bay. To help manage waiting room traffic safely, we kindly request that you wait in your bay until otherwise directed by one of our team. As sofas only seat two, we’d also be really grateful if, ideally, no more than two owners accompany their feline friend to cat clinic consultations. 

And if popping down to collect a repeat prescription or food order, do feel free to ring ahead to pre-pay and cut down any waiting time at collection.
