Parasites love the warmer weather! Is your cat properly protected? One of our castrates this week brought in a surprise visitor – a tape worm that wiggled out whilst the cat was under sedation, and dropped a big stash of eggs too. Cats can get tape worm from ingesting an infected flea during grooming or, if they are hunters, from eating prey that has the larvae.
