New lease of life for Molly
This is Molly who has been in to see us this morning for a second injection of a brand new arthritis treatment only launched in May. It’s a monoclonal antibody against nerve growth factor (NGF). This essentially means that NGF is removed from the body resulting in a marked decrease in arthritic pain. Molly was very stiff and slow prior to treatment, but since her first injection, she has been running up and down the stairs, chasing leaves in the garden and climbing the fence again. In fact, Molly’s mum had to reschedule her last appointment because Molly had left the garden and gone off to explore, which she hadn’t done in years!
This amazing new treatment (a monthly injection) – the first monoclonal antibody released for cats – is now available at The West Midlands Cat Clinic. Give us a ring on 01922 411755 to find out more!
