Laser therapy for faster recovery!

This is beautiful Mila who has been in with us today to be spayed. Did you know that all our cat spays receive complimentary laser therapy post-surgery to help with wound recovery? Here is Mila receiving hers!

Laser works by applying red and near-infra red light over problem areas to help stimulate the body’s natural healing process. Laser wavelength and density is adjusted according to the condition being treated, and the injury site is then targeted with the light stream for a set time. In the case of post-op wounds such as neuterings, treatment encourages cell multiplication for faster wound repair.

Laser therapy isn’t just beneficial for healing wounds, but can be used to reduce inflammation, relieve pain and fight infection. And the beauty of this treatment is that it is super cat-friendly. It’s safe, non-invasive and silent, we don’t need to shave the treatment area or sedate your cat, treatment is given in short sessions, there are no unpleasant side effects and it can help to significantly boost your feline friend’s health and general wellbeing!
