June is National Microchipping Month so we’re sharing the charity International Cat Care’s info pic to help spread the word! It’s standard practice to scan for a microchip when a lost cat is brought in to the vets. Each chip has a unique number that links to a database with the owners’ contact details so it means, provided contact details are kept up to date, that owners can be contacted quickly and easily and reunited with their feline friend. As microchips are permanent, they are much more reliable that a collar and identity tag which can fall off or be removed.
