19 month old Blue was in to see Emma this week for his annual booster, a year on from treatment for Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). FIP is a rare mutation of the common viral infection feline coronavirus, which many cats can carry without displaying any symptoms or feeling any ill effects. In the not very distant past, FIP was very sadly fatal. However, thanks to recent advances in medicine, treatment is now available and Blue is an excellent example of how successful it is. It was heart warming to see beautiful Blue looking so fabulous on his visit!
