This is beautiful Pixie who came in to see Emma today for a meds and health check. Nine year old Pixie was diagnosed with diabetes earlier this year, and at the beginning of treatment was around 4kg. With careful monitoring and tweaking of his insulin treatment, Pixie is doing brilliantly, has put on 2kg and got a great report at his health check today! Well done Pixie!

The most obvious signs that your cat may be suffering from diabetes are an increased thirst, urinating more frequently and losing weight whilst still having a good appetite.
